TEAM MANAGER

 

The Board, Director,Coaches and Players cannot function without the commitment and dedication of a team manager! They play a vital part in the success of the team and association.   If YOU want to volunteer to be a team manager please contact the coach or a Board Member. 

The club will be forming a mentoring group for 2007 in order to help new team managers transition into this role, offer training for building & editing team pages on our website, and other general support.

 

 

POSSIBLE & SUGGESTED DUTIES

1. Support the Head Coach in any duties that can be delegated to ensure the Head Coach can concentrate and focus on the player’s development in training and matches.

2.  Hand out team calendars and any training or playing notes/schedules that the Head Coach has prepared.  Prepare a Coach and parent ‘phone tree’.

3.  Help coordinate with other parents – pictures, car-pooling and ‘sport’ refreshment and snacks for the players where applicable.

4.  Assist the Head Coach in keeping the team web site up to date.

5.  Promote the association philosophy and help recruit volunteers for fundraising events that will benefit the players development.

6.  Coordinate with the Uniform coordinator the team’s uniform requirements.

7.  Help plan team building social events and activities for the team and association in coordination with the Head Coach.

8.  Keep team parents informed of all the association activities.

9. Assist in the registration and collection of money for league fees and tournaments.
